There are so many people today ‘under the circumstances’, depressed, oppressed, worry, distressed so today I am going to sing a great old song I recorded several years ago – ‘God Walks The Dark Hills’. Then I am going to read the 23rd Psalm with emphasis on the 17 pronouns used in that Psalm.
Psalm 24:4 – 5 ‘He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.’
Psalm 25:21 ‘Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee’.
Integrity and Uprightness preserve me!
Malachi 3:8-11 ‘Will a man rob God? …cursed with a curse for ye have robbed me…BRING ye all the tithes into the storehouse…and see if I will not open to you the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.’
When’s the last time you had more money than you knew what to do with? Bet never! Reckon what the problem is? Read previous verses and you will probably find out.
