This is Easter Sunday, a day when the whole world acknowledges an event unlike any other in the history of man, the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Luke 24:1 - 3 "Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulcher...and they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher, and they entered in, and found NOT the body of the Lord Jesus."
That event is what separates our Christianity from every other cult and religion in the World. We serve a Live, Risen, Savior. Everyone else pays homage to a dead god.
At the same time an article in the Wall Street Journal this week "Crosses on Public Land spur Constitutional battle". A 29 foot cross, erected 60 years ago in honor of dead war heroes is coming under fire because it represents Christianity and 'don't you know, the constitution declares separation of Church and State'. Once again the Bozos who tout that don't understand that was written into the Constitution to keep the State (Government) OUT OF THE CHURCH, not to keep the Church (Christianity, Bible, Prayer) out of the Government. My suggestion to these folks is for them to go to one of several Countries who don't like Christians, the Bible, Church, and Bible Preachers - Cuba, Russia, Argentina, Venezuela just to name a few.
Happy Easter. Remember the Reason for the Season.
