Senator Jeff Sessions Confirmed New Attorney General

Senator Jeff Sessions was finally confirmed for the United States Attorney General last night. There has been an ongoing battle when it comes to the Jeff Sessions Nomination but Republicans pushed it through with 52 to 47 votes utilizing the “nuclear option” that Harry Reed reinstated. The “nuclear option” rules essentially block the minority party from a Filibuster.
