If you have been watching oil lately, the price continues to go down and it is now approaching dangerous levels.
The price oil WTI Texas Oil and Brent Crude are struggling to stay above $40 per barrel. Monday, oil saw about a 5% drop in prices mainly due to the OPEC meeting last week. OPEC will continue its production at current output levels and over supply of oil will likely stay the same or grow. Many major oil producing economies like Russia, are already in a recession due to huge losses in the energy sector.
We found a really great article explaining the dangers if oil prices continue to fall. One thing we must remember is that the last time oil was this low was in 2008 and 2009 and we all know what happened back them.
