Last week's Supreme Court marriage case included a revelation from Obama's lead attorney that is now sending shockwaves through the Christian community, especially our schools and churches. See below. --Steve
Last week's Supreme Court marriage case included many revealing moments, but one is sending shockwaves through the Christian community.
+ + Obama Attorney Admits Christian Schools Will Be
At one key point, Justice Alito asked Obama's attorney if a ruling in favor of homosexual marriage would mean Christian institutions could lose their tax-exempt status. After stumbling a bit, Obama's attorney said:
"I don't deny that. I don't deny that, Justice Alito. It is-- it is going to be an issue."
Standing before the Supreme Court, Obama's attorney openly admitted that a ruling in favor of homosexual marriage would cause the tax exempt status of every Christian school to immediately be in jeopardy. And they won't stop there. Pastors will be next, especially since in most states officiating at a marriage is a civil function authorized by the state. Churches and Christian businesses will also lose their liberties.
