Antonin Gregory Scalia was born on March 11th, 1936 in Trenton New Jersey. He attended both Harvard and Georgetown university and became a professor at the University of Virginia. In 1982, he was appointed to the United States Court of Appeals and finally elected to the Supreme Court in 1986 where he would serve until February 13th, 2016.
Justice Scalia was a level headed conservative elected by Ronald Reagan who has consistently upheld the constitution while ruling, and will be missed by many people on both the right and the left. He was a devout Roman Catholic that recognized the importance of Christianity in America and the role it played in building the greatest civilization to ever exist.
Unfortunately, America will no longer be able to seek the knowledge, guidance and conservative rule he has given us for the past 30 years and even worse, a new battle over his job has clouded his death within hours.
Justice Scalia died in his sleep in the early morning of Saturday, February 13th, 2016. Scalia was determined to have died of natural causes but an Autopsy has not been performed.
We thank and will always remember your contribution to the United States.
Supreme Court Justice, Antonin Gregory Scalia
